King Taqueria was an exciting concept for a fast-casual craft taco restaurant located on King Street in downtown Charleston, South Carolina. In addition to delicious tacos, they were planning to serve up frozen margaritas, orange crushes, and homemade choco taco desserts—yum!

The team behind King Taqueria wanted a logo that felt fun, inviting, and just a little bit classy. After brainstorming, we landed on a playful mix of a loose script paired with a modern rounded sans-serif font, all accented with a geometric crown for that touch of regal flair. They also wanted a bold, expansive color palette that would carry through to the interior design and merchandise, so we had fun with that! To bring it all together, I created a few custom patterns for packaging and other branding elements.

Unfortunately, the COVID-19 pandemic put this exciting restaurant concept on pause, but I’m hopeful it will be back in the future—just like those choco tacos!
